Performance Parts
Performance parts are a great way to tune up your car. You can get them for just about any aspect, from steering and suspension, to wheels and brakes. From aerodynamics to exhaust; just about any aspect of a car is modifiable, and upgrading any one aspect is most often done by a simple parts upgrade.
A performance upgrade doesn’t always have to be significantly different than the original part. For example if you want better stopping power, you look for ceramic brake pads and bored rotors. Bored rotors have additional holes through the disc surface that allow it to more efficiently transmit heat away from the pads, increasing the life of both pads and discs. They are also a perfect example of performance parts.
Brakes are a fairly inexpensive way to improve your car’s performance, but there are other performance parts that don’t come so cheaply. Engines especially are an expensive proposition to upgrade, as is the body of your car. Both engine upgrades and bodywork are great ways to get more performance out of your vehicle, if you’ve got the cash to burn.
